Essentially how well a player holds on to the ball after contact. The higher the number the less likely they are to fumble.

Ideally highest for running backs but also plays a role for WR and TE as well.

Everyone can cough it up if you don't take advantage of the various user mechanics to protect the ball.

Use the right bumper to cover the ball before contact with a tackler, also use the in game coaching adjustments to set ball carrier to conservative.

Note : When set to conservative you will not be able to use special moves.

When you say right bumper do you mean right stick..if that is the case I do push up on that when running in traffic or before big hits.

No. Doing that increases fumble chances, I assume.

Above the triggers are the bumpers. Holding the RB protects the ball.
