Weather in Cfm

Are you guys seeing random weather? I haven’t had a rain or snow game yet and at the beginning of season 2. Is their a setting I’m missing?

I've had maybe 4 rain games and i'm in year 4, maybe one snow game.

Play in Florida you will see plenty of rain games there for sure. I’ve seen a couple of snow games too .

It just depends where your games are located.

In year 1, my last 3 home games with the 49ers were all rain games.

Rains or is very cloudy every time i play in Miami. Had a couple snow games.

Still don't understand why we don't have the fifa system where weather is randomly generated and then we can also choose to customize it if we want.

They haven't updated the weather in a few years, i dont see many rain games either. Though in what madden 12 or 13 it was like raining every game you would play lol

Give us a “randomize” and “edit” function for weather. Super-lame in the year 2019 how many sports titles have such a basic option, even other EA sports titles... and yet Madden never does.

Games from 1990’s routinely had this, lol!

That, and no team referenced in stat history, when viewing a player’s card.

It’s the year 2019, and we don’t have either of those things. Each year when Madden comes out these are some of the first things I check, and laugh with a bit of a sigh when they never add such primitive features.

Weather in Madden has been my pet peeve for a loooonnnggg time.

Weather is just weird. The Madden that had the best weather was Madden 02. It had four sliders, wind, fog, temperature and moisture. You could create your weather recipe I might day. Blizzard to a few flakes for an example.

Here in 2019 we still do not have that system. What baffles me more we have racing games that dynamic weather and more complex weathers systems than Madden. For example F1 2019 has dynamic weather for a 2hr or less race. An NFL football game is three hours. Also nothing gives a game a good story line is weather. Fog bowl, Ice bowl, and the snow in the tuck rule game. These are just a few. What’s sad is we cannot recreate these games in Madden. What’s worse someone said weather has not touched since 2012. That was just a minor tweak so you would not have rain in every game or snow in games or places it never snows. Also this is 2019 and weather as it has been since the 360/PS3 early days.

Rant over. Created a thread on this several years back and it is still an issue.
