Playbook Question

Does anybody know if I am using a generic playbook in my online franchise and have it set as my offensive playbook in my profile will it automatically populate after the first time I select it like custom playbooks do or will I have to select it every time?

I'm almost 100% sure that the generic playbooks need to be selected each time before the game. I usually spend a decent portion of the season using the West Coast Offense playbook and i had to select it every time.
