Kick Meter Glitch?

Has anyone else noticed a recent glitch with the kick meter on kickoffs and punts? I can stop the accuracy meter perfectly, but before the kicker kicks the ball, the meter moves out of the “perfect zone” for no obvious reason. I also noticed that I have to press the second “A” tap much quicker on field goals. I have been playing Madden 20 since it came out and just noticed this issue tonight.

Since launch, I've noticed that during the kick power cycle, I have to press "A" very firmly or the meter will kick back. Bought a new controller, as I thought that was the case, but did not remedy the issue. With muscle memory, as long as I press the "A" hard, I don't see it occur at all. I have never experienced issue during the accuracy cycle.

Thanks for the feedback! I have been playing since launch and have been able to hit FGs pretty consistently. All of a sudden last night, I noticed the kick meter acting differently than it has the first three months that I’ve been playing. I went into practice mode to test things. There is a red section at the top of the kick meter (for power) - if you tap A within that red portion, does that affect the kick? I have never noticed the red section for power, but maybe they made a fix to make that actually matter now? I feel certain that something changed, as my kickoffs were only making it to the 20 yard line, and my punts were going maybe 30 yards in total (no wind).

I've always had red section at top of meter. I blasted home a 63 yard FG last night and definitely needed to be in the red. Once you go there, the power meter will quickly defeat if not timed perfectly. Risk/reward.
