In my opinion if you want a realistic cfm then yes, keep it off. Definitely if you play all madden, I would recommend turning them off. On all pro its not quite as bad being op and i like to have them on for what it does actually add to the game. I see what ea was aiming for and i like the idea but it just isnt working as its intended or maybe it is for them. On all madden its crazy. So keep it off.

It's a matter of opinion. I find that the game is more representative of simulation football, when playing with extended quarters' length, by leaving Superstar abilities on while turning off X-Factor. Below is a link to a fairly recent post discussing this in greater detail.

I like having them on. I hardly ever see X Factors activate and the superstar abilities add a lot to the gameplay by differentiating players.

I read other people post in the past on here about the game being better with them off and i thought about turning them off, but i can't seem to do that. I feel with them on it makes game planning more fun and realistic, it makes signing certain players a factor etc...

I agree it makes all madden ridiculous at times but i just keep adjusting the sliders until i find one i like

I had them on and ended turning them off because they're not working properly. I started an Offline Franchise with the Chargers, unfortunately, Keenan Allen's X-Factor ability has never worked. Last draft I selected a CB with a hidden dev trait, which, after playing enough downs, turned out to be an X-Factor whose in the zone ability is not working either.
