Red Line in Practice

Red lines on the practice field is for what? Added during the last patch.

It’s an aesthetic change. Some teams use these on their practice field to help their receivers learn how to control the “redline”. The redline is the line of control for a receiver loosely — they want to maintain control that line on vertical stems upfield.

I haven't see the exact thing OP is talking about, but if it's a red line thats on the numbers then yeah thats what it is. When running a streak/fade the Wr needs to hold his positioning and not get pushed off that line. The QB will throw it between that line and the sideline, allowing for the receiver then to go get it.
