is there a way to get updated player ratings in CFM once I start my CFM?

You can always manually edit the players. For example Lamar Jackson is quite a bit better than his ratings so I gave him a boost. I also raised dak a tiny bit, lowered Tom Brady, lowered baker mayfield and raised Gardner minshew.

Other than manually editing, no. Once you start CFM, you leave reality behind and enter your own alternate NFL universe.

This is the approach i take. I usually boost some of the rookie QB's just enough to get them playing like Daniel Jones. Also add some XFactors like Tyreke.

Just change their dev trait. If you don't like what they end up with then you can change their position, confirm, and then change it back and confirm. That will re-roll it. Like tyreke got Mossed initially for my league which was obviously not accurate haha but something like double me is great for him.
