Rushing the QB

I cannot get any pressure on the CPU QB at all outside of my X-factor end on all madden. By the time the the pass rush animation finishes the balls gone. Any advice? I've tried slanting the slime, overloading etc. I've been using press coverage to try and buy an extra second but doesnt seem to help. I'm either stonewalled or if I win the rush the animation takes too long.
