New Stadiums

Does anyone knows if the new Raiders or Chargers/Rams Stadiums are in the game?

Re: New Stadiums

They put in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for London games and one in Mexico City, but not those two.

It's been speculated the London/Mexico ones were easier to do as they are in FIFA, and the LA/Vegas ones would have to be done from scratch. I find it hard not to think they thought 'we can already claim two new stadiums this year, and if we leave LA/Vegas to next year we can claim them as new for Madden 21'.

But Madden 16 had the new Vikings stadium a year before it opened...

Re: New Stadiums

They also had Levi's Stadium in the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Madden NFL 25.

For next year, I'd like to see stadiums being kept in the game once they’re vacated in real life. For example, in MLB The Show, Turner Field was kept in the game as “Old Atlanta” after the Braves moved to SunTrust Park. In the context of Madden NFL 21, this would apply to Dignity Health Sports Park, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and the Oakland Coliseum.

This is part of a more general desire for Madden to have classic stadiums (such as Candlestick Park and Texas Stadium), which is something MLB has had for awhile.

I think in all probability the difference is technology based , in those days they probably had artists "draw" the stadiums from the plans , these days it's all done with scans , which requires the stadium to be completed, I could be wrong though
Rights issues probably prevents them using a "generic" stadium , so either they could go beck to drawing them ( probably costly ) until they get a scan or wait until the building is complete , I'd imagine waiting was the most cost effective as the drawing would be costly and would be discarded as soon as the scan became available
