I haven’t downloaded patch...I have a Franchise already to go..If I download patch .will the patch take affect on my existing Franchise or do I have to start a new Franchise over once I download it..

Good question. I don't know that answer. As soon as I turn on system after patches from ea they are automatically downloading

The new patch will take effect on the existing franchise

Once you boot the franchise up, if the patch affects anything in franchise, you'll see a popup saying "Please wait, franchise is being patched" or something like that.

Stay away from the updates!!!

That 1st Aug update is where everything got derailed....
- increased wins on double move routes
- increased tuning to “tackling” (affects AI running on a major scale)
- other under the hood stuff

There was no “major” bug that “everyone” was experiencing across the board, as to why the update was really needed.

I also wonder how many play off of a digital download vs disk.

Even the unpatched digital download plays different from an unpatched disk, and this isn’t “placebo”!!!

IDK what you guys are seeing. I've had plenty of QB scrambling. The only oddity is that 2 of the most dynamic scramblers I've faced (Lamar Miller and Deshuan Watson) don't often scramble. But I've had Kyler Murray, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, and a few auto generated rookies give me fits for weeks now.

I do think it has to do with the archetype and sense pressure trait. There are also some playbooks that have designed runs that the CPU will use even with a QB that isn't a scrambler. I've seen that happen a few times.


I believe Lamar and Wilson are no longer scramble archetype QB's. I don't think Wilson ran on me once, but Trubisky and Josh Allen were taking off often.


This shouldn't be an issue for CPU generated QB's as scramblers will often remain scramblers. But for the ones currently in the league you may need to do some editing.


Lamar scrambles often, but a lot of what the Ravens do are designed QB runs and not scrambles. Wilson is a scrambler, but not so often. Is there a happy balance of settings where Wilson won't take off every play if you edit him?
