Sigh.... at this point just leave well enough alone. It seems like with every patch I have to learn how to play the game again.

But hey... next year we will have the PS5 and THEN I know we will have a perfect game. 🙄🙄

No fix for the kickoff touchback going to the 35? This only happens if the returner catches it cleanly beyond the back line of the end zone. The AI even takes advantage of it, though you’d think they’d just let the ball go.

Shading the DL left or right works just as good sometimes. Especially against Wildcat. Because you know what direction the wildcat play is going based on the alignment.

My franchise crashed while simming a week, whole PS4 shut down and wouldnt turn back on until I unplugged and re plugged it. Got one of those CE errors and profile was corrupt but my chise survived

My god this game is playing bad. I have receivers jumping twice in mid air like they can fly!

Also I score tds and they give me a 3rd and goal it’s weird bigs that just frustrate

For some reason, the team specific playbook setting is no longer working. I jumped into an online game after the patch installed with my custom offensive playbook and team specific defensive playbook like the 150 games I had played before it, and all of a sudden the Eagles, a 43 team had a 34 playbook. Suffice it to say I got thoroughly smoked in that game since I haven't run a 34 defense in like 10 years. I spent most of the play selection clock just trying to find plays.

Went to start another game, this time checking to see what the playbooks were set as and it said ARI for defense with the Eagles selected, making me think it is defaulting to the first team alphabetically when team default is selected. Good god EA, this patch fixed nothing of substance, just stop screwing with the game in case you accidentally screw something up that was working perfectly. It is January 10th, nothing you can fix now is going to make much of a difference.

UPDATE: I went into settings and changed my defensive playbook to default to the Eagles defense, went to online head to head and looked at the playbooks and ARI is still the playbook selected. So it isn't team specific playbooks that broke, it is default defensive playbooks period. Guess I'll be manually selecting my defensive playbook from now on.
