Cover 1 with safety Covering 1 half of field?

Is there a quick way to change your Cover 1 defense so the deep safety’s zone is shifted to a half of the field instead of the center?

I have an elite CB so depending on formations and opposing personnel I’d rather have the safety giving help to my CB 2.

If I recall from memory On Xbox: Y --> Y -->safeties button --> right stick right or left, depending on which half he is on.

You used to be able to shift that deep zone but I’m not sure that’s still in the game.

The closest to get to what you’re looking for now would be a mable check where man is played to one side and the zone is pushed to the other. Mable used to be an actual defense, now the concept is built into your cover-3 match defenses, but it’s only active against 3x1 offensive sets.

Also, a similar concept is supposed to activate in Cover-4 against trips to but I play so much cover-3 I haven’t really tested it out.
