i had Hunter Renfrow with a legacy score of 11,200 and then he i assumed retired after being unsigned but he didnt end up listed as a hall of famer anyone else have hall of famers retire but get deleted after going unsigned

If an older player goes unsigned after the preseason the game can just straight up delete them.

This is why I'm so glad we can edit the ages of players in franchise mode, to prevent the game from deleting older veterans.

Ridiculous that they literally just disappear without a trace.

On PC we're working to make it so this doesn't happen anymore.

Replace "can " with "will" if the total of remaining FAs is over the limit for that position ( 30 in the case of TEs etc)

Is there an overall threshold as well for unsigned veterans? Or does the game automatically clear out unsigned veterans, regardless of overall, if the numbers of unsigned players exceeds the threshold? In which case does it begin with oldest players first and remove players until it his that number of unsigned players threshold?

Each position has a maximum number at the start of each regular season ... totalling 640 , 300 on offense , 300 defense 40 STs ( 30 QBs , 50 RBs , 15 FBs etc etc..... ) players are sorted by age at each position individuallly and removed ,oldest first ,to leave the required maximum or less

Whilst annoying in that it often removes players who the user would wish to retain it actually does a reasonable job of simulating turnover in the real NFL

Yea but at least the game should put those in the Hall of fame that have the legacy score
