Madden Behind Development?

Given everything that's happening is Madden behind development? At this time last year, Madden had released three blogs on gameplay for Madden 20 by May 16th; Face of the Franchise, X-Factors, and MUT. As of today, the only real Madden information we have is if you purchase Madden 21 for the Xbox One you'll receive a free upgrade.

What are your thoughts, is this abnormal? Madden 20 released August 2nd of last year, if this date is their hopeful timetable the lack of news seems concerning.

I'm not expecting much until closer to their EA Play event 6/11.

Different aspects of every company are affected differently, nothing is normal this year for anyone. Doesn't mean they're 'behind' though.

I think they want finish to the Madden Bowl stuff.. I think Madden 21 info is coming soon.

I remember it seeming out of the ordinary that they released info so early last year

I do expect most companies to be behind given the pandemic but just found it interesting that there hasn't been much considering last year's cycle. I normally don't pay much attention but with everything happening, I was looking for some news to hyped for.

I don't remember being surprised by the dates they released news last year but I was surprised the game released at the start of August.
