This is encouraging to me that there will some tangible improvement to the game under the hood even if it's not something that gets marketed or even put into a blog.

Minimal gameplay and graphics changes (for current gen), “new” franchise features that either aren’t actually new or are so small you would miss it if they didn’t tell you it was there, and massive updates to MUT. Same ole same ole.

Honestly....nothing we haven't seen outside of a marketing gimmick or two like we have for the last decade.

No matter what we see or read, it can all change and we need to remember that. So much of what they promised last year either never happened or took an eternity to implement and they still got it wrong.

Realistic contracts was a straight up lie. No matter how they try to spin it, that was a straight up lie.


Their shiny new QB1 mode is the most bug-filled mode 10 months after release that I have ever seen in a AAA game and it's been that way since Day 1, but they didn't care enough to fix it. Still adding trash to MUT$$$ 10 months after release but they can't fix their back of the box mode.


They told us in July that 5th Yr Options were coming. They didn't come until late November and the way they are added is a joke. You can't see the player card and every time it's the same line... "You really want to extend player A's contract? He barely saw the field last year but Ok." ...even if the dude won MVP that is the line they use. It's a joke.
