Even so it’s still a microcosm of a bigger issue. There’s too much animation dominance in madden. There’s not enough contextual awareness. Even if that guys does jump over someone he should still be sticking an arm out trying to grab Jackson, even if he doesn’t make the tackle show me an effort to. In a game inches those little things really need to be there

Start of with a lack of openfield tackling and then introduce open field tackling.

Yeah, I'm hoping that is the current gen version. While you can see the newer animations, but visually that's looks like Madden 20. You also see a newer score bug. I never had issues with visuals, but I would expect some type of step up in visuals in a newer generation from EA

While I expected Face of Franchise to get attention, hopefully Franchise gets some love. For FoTF, I just expect more position options and more/frequent cinematic cutscenes. Hopefully it isn't just added Scenarios for CFM.

Animations still seem to dominate movement too much. There seems to be a few animations with players reaching out to get more yards, but I also still saw players go into animations and not reach out anything.

TBH though I'm much more interested in expanding franchise mode.

Burrow & Brady face scans look horrifying. What year is this again? Normally that stuff doesn't get to me but those are just terrible.

Not that these trailers ever offer much of substance, but "dominate the edge" and "user controlled celebrations" literally describes Madden 20. That leaves skill-controlled ball carrier moves (again, already in the game) and "open field tackling" as the main selling points lol
