Oh I completely agree with that. I would hope they're able to add some of that for the PC folks. But if they're doing a straight port from console then I think we're out of luck on that. Maybe when next gen drops they can patch the PC version but who knows.

Specifically madden 25 released on ps3 and Xbox 360 in August then had madden 25 next gen as a launch title for PS4 and Xbox one later that year.

Besides improved graphics the foot planting and acceleration/deceleration was outstanding when compared to the last gen version. Players had weight and changing direction wasn’t instant.

Releasing a free upgrade would be extremely out of character for EASports to do (and I can't see them commercially re-releasing within months of the first release on the same platform). PC is almost always minimal effort. We're just lucky that minimal effort these days means a decent product, largely due to the Xbox and PC being more in tune as platforms.

PC gamers should be prepared to wait at least 1 year for the new version, but this is probably a blessing in disguise.

Honestly this is kind of embarrassing.


However, it appears the lighting has been improved. That isn't nearly as important as a better franchise mode, but it's a welcomed upgrade. I also like the idea of being able to choose your pass rush move and set up the AI with different moves. That's a huge improvement for those who user dlinemen. OF course, if your own AI doesn't do any of that it's not nearly as good of an upgrade.

Yeah like when EA broke Madden 17 by patching QBA so it was literally impossible to be off target. Pissed me off so much I haven't bought Madden since.
