I realised the height of my stupidity when I see things like this and think "maybe next gen franchise news?"

I really hope the next gen version is built from the ground up and not ported, I don't care if the game is bare bones. Seems like in order for the new sports games to be able to take full advantage of the next gen systems with the super fast SSD's/no loading times, and ray tracing it would need to be rebuilt.

I feel like we wish for this then it delays all of our hopes and dreams for Franchise Mode to get an overhaul...

Them showing off next gen Madden this early is interesting. Wonder if they put more of their resources into the next gen version which is why it seems the current gen didn't get very much.

I would love nothing more than to look super stupid for dumping on this game for the last 36 hours since the trailer released if this is incredible tomorrow. Low expectations though lol.

Madden 25 was 10000% times better on the 360 than it was on the Xbox One.

Nah Franchise mode is broken, it needs to be rebuilt, it needs a new foundation, that would be a overhaul. Can't keep building onto of a broken foundation. With a new foundation they could possibly build up Franchise mode faster.
