If Pro Reads is the same as Madden 20, a qualifying pass must travel 5 yards in the air beyond the line of scrimmage to count towards it, so you can't just throw swing passes and bubble screens to activate it, you have to actually attempt to drive the ball down field a little bit. That said, it's indeed still pretty easy to trigger. When playing against a user-controlled Tom Brady, sometimes my opponent would have Pro Reads on for literally half the game lol.

The Truzz activation condition also feels incredibly easy, but that ability also isn't nearly as powerful as First One Free or Freight Train so I think I get the intent of the balance at least. We'll see how effective it is. The knockout condition is also relatively easy.

Its actually stronger.

Being able to juke and spin and whatever without worrying that you fumble is about as strong as it gets when running the ball.

If activated you can run with reckless abandon worrying about only getting injured.
