Madden 20 12 bucks worth it?

See it is 12 bucks on ps store. Since 21 doesn't exactly sound great franchise wise should I just get 20 cheap with updated rosters?

Some of the Face of the Franchise stuff is Ok. Playing a few college games is nice. Franchise got scenarios which is something I suppose. Abilities are a decent addition to the game. For $12 I think it's worth it. You probably can't find it preowned for that price yet. Depends how you plan on playing it though. Online is nothing but stretch and dive because running is way overpowered thos year.

Considering it looks like franchise will be ignored in 21 it isn't a bad idea. Madden 20 is the best version since Madden 16.

It's worth $20 if you're not going to get 21. If you do plan on getting 21 at any point then it's obviously not.

I would say if you have 19 stick with that.

As far as gameplay though, if you have 18 or 16, stick with those.

Madden 20 is so much better than 18 after having upgraded from 18 back in Feb. I didn't play 19, but everything I've heard has been that 20 improved on it.

I think Madden 20 is definitely worth it for $12. FIFA 20 and NHL 20 are also $12 till 8/6 on PSN Store.

EA Access for $30 a year is an option if you are into all 3 franchises and don't mind playing the 20 versions until their respective regular seasons are over before the '21 version come on Access.

Madden 20 is so much better than 18 after having upgraded from 18 back in Feb. I didn't play 19, but everything I've heard has been that 20 improved on it.

Agree on 20 being better than 18 by a country mile.

If only they didn’t nerf off ball injuries it would be a lot better.

19 was a fun game after the last patch.

16 really is the very best the game has played from a simulation point of view for my money. Far better physics, tackling, fatigue and auto subs that work and all the penalties work!!!

I keep going back to 16 (and now PS3 and M25 and NCAA 14).

Agreed, Armor. I've had a very good time with M20's gameplay, but there's still something about M16's gameplay that keeps me coming back. I'm not sure if I'd call M16's gameplay the undisputed "best" of this generation, but it's easily the most sound (no major glitches/issues; fatigue, penalty, and scrambling QB AI systems working properly) and balanced (neither the offense nor the defense being too overpowered, being able to have a variety of game types, etc.).

One of these days, I would like to give M19 a fair shake with iMac's trait edits to see how it stacks up. By the time I found out about those, M20's release date was just around the corner.

Just get EA Access... Madden 20 is free on there & if you're thinking about upgrading to 21 you'll get a 10 hr free trial where you get to form your own opinion of the game and it's 100% free if you opt for the refund before the end of your first month.

FWIW from what I played in the M21 beta I could've even go back to Madden 20 (logged over 600hrs). Maybe it was the new car smell with M21, but with the gameplay additions alone made it a better product than M20, even a modded M20 couldn't hold up imo. So if u haven't bought 20 you might want to wait for EA Access & try both.
