Not gonna lie. This is getting me psyched. This is what Madden does to me lol. 12 hours ago I was in the "na not buying this game" camp and skimming 3 videos (avoiding storylines) has me hooked.

The menus are really snappy and they look nice. Very impressive how responsive they are in this video.

Hopefully there's an option to player lock and not just call plays to boost stats. Seems like a simple thing to me.

There is. He shows it near the end of video #4. You can toggle full team control.

Yea I like the new menus and the new color scheme with the scoreboard and the intros are great IMO.

let's hope they don't patch che "pace" of the gameplay on the field. wathing the video where he plays as oklahoma vs florida i really like ho the players move and i love that the game feels slower..let's hope it stays this way

The 'new' game intros are so... weird.

I like using the in game assets on the backgrounds to simulate a SNF style presentation but after that I get pretty confused. It's a mish mash of previous animations of the teams entering the stadium, coaches over reacting (before the game even starts?), the starting line ups dancing on the field as fireworks go off and footage of the two teams playing an actual game (again, before the game even starts?). It's so bombastic and exaggerated, why couldn't they come up with something a little more subtle that also tells us more about the actual teams/players with stat overlays rather than an annoying clip-show that will be skippable after the first three times you see it.

Agreed. It's just a matter of style preference I suppose, but I'm definitely in the camp that would rather see a broadcast-like presentation. There's glimpses here that are sort of like a broadcast, but for the most part the intro is just a reminder that this is a video game - not a simulation.
