Rookie Names No Longer Part of Broadcast in Franchise

They will say typical last names of offensive rookies as long as you don't edit either the first or last name.
Last year you could edit no problem and they said a lot of college draft prospects last names making the custom NFL draft class more realistic and fun. For example, Bo Nix, Chubba Hubbard, Justin Fields, Trevor Lawrence, and more, last names would be said along with the typical names; Jones, James, Johnson, etc.

Has there been any update on this? I just got the game and noticed the issue with my first batch of rookies where any name editing makes them stop saying the name. Such a bummer since it was an online franchise and there’s no turning back now. Guess this is why I’ve always done offline with multiple save points, because inevitably some sort of bug pops up and then I can go back to a save before the error.

No news, not sure if EA knows or cares about this.

Horrible even with Madden’s first franchise patch they still didn’t fix this. Straight garbage.

Doubt they will fix for M21. For franchise, these bugs usually are left unfixed unless the masses pressure them on Twitter... It's things like this and the same generic faces used in custom draft classes year after year that kills immersion for me. Franchise mode has no depth and is a joke feature-wise compared to NBA2K...
