How's Your Franchise Going: Madden 21 Edition

2-4 following a 24-17 L to CHI. They took CMC away. Held him to 28 yards on 9 attempts. Robbie Anderson is shaping up to be Bridgewaters’ favorite target.

Re: How's Your Franchise Going: Madden 21 Edition

Started my franchise with the ATL Falcons. Owner Arthur Blank wanted to go in a different direction and let go head coach Dan Quinn and his entire staff right before preseason and hired Washington State head coach Nick Rolovich to helm the team. Being that the 2020 Pac 12 football season has been cancelled Rolovich upon signing his deal was quoted as saying "whatever, I just wanna coach football this year." Rolovich will be installing the Run and Shoot offense he's known for at Hawaii and going with a 3-4 under scheme on defense.

In the preseason I signed receivers Josh Gordon and Taylor Gabriel to round out my Wide receiver corps as we'll be going 4 wide pretty much on every down.

Regular season week 1 against the visiting Seahawks, we got out to a 21-3 first half lead with Matt Ryan running the offense like a precision machine. Unfortunately, in the 2nd half the wheels fell off of that machine and we only managed 6 points while Seattle stormed back with some huge plays by Russell Wilson and Chris Carson on the ground. We only turned the ball over once but Seattle's hard-hitting secondary jarred the ball loose on several critical 3rd down passing plays. We ended up losing 42-27. Though it was a punch in the gut, we'll learn from it and strive to improve.

And yay, football is back.

All-Pro, all default sliders. The ridiculous rushing numbers the 'Hawks put up against me last game was an anomaly to be sure lol.

Re: How's Your Franchise Going: Madden 21 Edition

I must say, the difference between teams is there.

I just finished a tight one against the Pats, couldn't throw the ball down field to save my life. Had to dink, and duck around for 5 yard gains. Run game struggled, and only averaged 3 yards per carry. I tossed 3 ints trying to force the ball down field, and only won 31-27 on a miracle catch by Tim Patrick against Staphon Gilmore with 24 seconds left that set me up. Next play was a fade to my TE Jake Butt which was caught, but a penalty of roughing the passer got me down to the 8 yard line. Scored on a cross pattern with Juedy and Sutton, with Sutton catching the game winner.

Next game against the Dolphins, im already at 200 passing yards in the first half, and just moving the ball at will.

Re: How's Your Franchise Going: Madden 21 Edition

I am glad to see their are some enjoying the game. I am having issues with my franchise mode. The punt drop down is not their. Cannot seem to turn off the visual defense rushing pop ups. Wanted to play as the owner with Jerry yet it only allows me to create an owner and even then will not allow a name to be entered. On All Pro, sliders at 50, ran the ball straight down the field and scored every time. Too easy.

Not fun at all.
