Enjoy the game? Ignore the negativity

So, I'm going to preface this by saying that people who genuinely don't like this game, or are frustrated about franchise mode are so welcome to their opinion.

I happen to think that this is the most polished game that I've seen yet from the franchise, and I'm really enjoying it. So the best advice I can give other people who I like me, simply ignore the negativity and enjoy the game for what it is.

Franchise mode needs attention and the community has done what it can do get that message to ea. But for now I am going to enjoy the game and ignore the negativity for the sake of negativity.

Polished? You must have a very low bar then. I can’t even get through a single game on the trial without the cut scenes stuttering and being choppy as hell

I didn't take it like that. The Madden community has been extra loud about it's displeasure of the game. I think what he is ultimately saying is if you like the game then block out the noise and don't let it sway or affect your enjoyment of it. In other words, ignore the negativity, not the issues. There is a difference.

Of course you are. No post ..no opinion here is preventing that. Nobody should need a consensus or another person's opinion (or review for that matter) to validate their personal enjoyment of the game or their decision to buy it.

I think the game is good enough for what I'm looking for and it will appease my appetite for NFL football this yr. I think everyone knows what there stepping into when they buy/play Madden.

I agree. Yes, franchise mode could use an overhaul, but I’m more concerned about how a game plays on the field and this year’s gameplay is superb. I just hope they don’t introduce some patches that change things for the worse.

It’s really just differences in opinion. Superb in regards to what? Last 3 years maddens? Yes the game play is better than those, certain football games from EA and another company 2 console generations ago? No it’s still trying to catch up.

I'd compare it to death. Something I love is truly dead, make no mistake.

But this is more like your girl running off with your brother or best friend. Still there, and will always be in your face. But it will never be yours again.

For those getting what they want out of this game, good on ya! Enjoy! Sorry you have to put up with our grief.

Great OP. Now that the game is out for everyone it's better to avoid the impression type threads if you enjoy the game because everyone who doesn't like the game is hanging out on here waiting to rip it any way they can... as we've seen in this thread lol
