Realism difference between Slow Sim, Fast Sim and swimming a week
*autochanged it to Swimming.. should say simming lol
Playing a franchise and in general, I just sim week to week and scout, look at stats, adjust depth chart etc.. but never play the games.
In year 2 my team is in the playoffs and watch more entertainment wise.
I tried slow mode, but it was frustrating bc It felt like my players statistically were not playing in a similar manner to how their stats were when I just "simmed" it week to week. (15 minute quarters, bring play clock to 10 seconds). Had multiple delay of games when players went in motion, the computer team passed the ball 60+ times and ran it like 7 times.. and then after the game ended (we lost) the game froze on the blue screen and didnt even submit.
I feel the integrity of my franchise got lost bc I did "lose" the playoff game technically, but then I did a "fast sim" and we blew them out but Id didn't feel right winning that way so I quit out of that too. Might make whatever version I decide (fast or slow or sim from main menu) the "final" version no matter the outcome.
I sorta am giving up on "slow mode" I think, and am considering doing fast mode and "playing the moments" in the 4th quarter... but is "fast mode" literally IDENTICAL to slow mode in terms of the stat production?
In that case I might just sim it how I've been doing directly on the main screen, but that takes away from the fun of watching the game in sorta real time.

Purely want to know from a "realism" perspective? I watch YT'ers like Bengal who when the playoffs start just fast sims the game and pops in if it's close at the end.
