Counterpoint: this is contrary to most man coverage techniques. An animation where a DB is looking at the QB/ball, yet also running tight man coverage, mirroring a receiver's route while not even looking at him, would be equally jarring. It'd certainly irritate the crap out of me.

I hear your overall point...one compromise or the other might be a necessary evil to keep pass coverage from being completely non-functional, and I think we agree coverage not being broken is the higher priority. I just think this particular case of robbing Peter to pay Paul isn't a net gain.

Re: Dbs with eyes in back of there head

This has been an issue in madden for years, one of the most annoying things when playing against the cpu (especially if its a lower rated guy who does it). Best thing i can suggest to fix these is look at the slider gurus threads and test those out, or lower the int slider (that acts as an aggression for defenders) or edit the traits of the defenders you are playing against

I went into practice mode and messed with every slider and it didn't effect anything I think this is "hardcoded" like someone said

I will say that turning down the Speed Disparity setting seems to have a positive effect on fixing the issue. I had much more success last night, still threw one INT, but, that happens.

For the record, I'm using Matt10's All-Madden Sliders (latest version).

Nice! I just switched to his sliders! I hope that was a "fix". That is one thing that I didn't touch when I was in practice mode

In the second picture i notice my slot has beaten his man, I was waiting to see what the Safety does, once I saw him turn and run I throw the ball. As soon as I throw the ball the Safety turns and comes back to it for an INT. There is no way the Safety would have known the ball was thrown.

Anyways this need to be stopped! This was on All-Madden with Mike Lowes slider set. Anyone else notice this????Attachment 183190Attachment 183191
