Owner Mode Tips?

Haven't done Owner Mode for a Franchise in years. I'm going to take Washington and try to re-build them. Any tips on what do do in terms of pricing/stadium upgrades? Is is smart to build a new stadium right away? Washington is ranked near the bottom for franchises when you start owner mode and their stadium is 23 years old. Wasn't sure if it's smart to renovate or build?

So what did you end up doing?
I relocated the Football Team to Portland.

I am about to do the same thing on a 32 team control. I haven't looked into if you can expand the league, if you can San Antonio is the next city in the US that is lined up for an expansion team. If not... I'm just going move JAX somewhere lol

I kept them in Washington. Ended up making sure all the prices were a Good Value.

Re: Owner Mode Tips?

I haven't paid too much attention to detail....but so far the main things I've found are the following:

1) Learn what the Media Questions do for your team and pick based on that. If you are winning or losing more and what effects do they have. Perhaps ignore these completely if you are losing more often than not.

2) If you are winning consistantly, slowly raise prices while still selling out home games. As soon as you no longer sell out, drop back to the prior weeks price.

3) Upgrading Merchandise first appears to be the most beneficial....don't seem to make nearly as much in concessions etc.

All 3 of these could be wrong but who knows From my experience, it's not always the easiest to determine what exactly is happening or why. My experience says don't stop winning if you want to not go bankrupt.

Personally, I think it's best to wait as long as possible on pretty much all of it, except upgrade merchandise if you have the cash. As long as you are selling out games, better off waiting.

Portland doesn't deserve any sports team for that matter, but that's neither here nor there.
