should I draft a franchise QB instead of Daniel Jones in Madden?

Just checked and the QB is rated at #1 in draft (there are like 5 first round QB's in this draft class) and got the news story, "generational family" where his family has been in football circles a while.

And just checked I messed up:
A throw power, A short accuracy, A- Throw Acc deep


still don't think I should draft him? I just worry if DJ doesn't improve past normal development and he has a contract coming up in like 2 years .

Sign him. Anything to get Daniel Jones off the field lol I have a test giants chise and he stinks. Cant hit the broad side of anything and he has a noodle arm. Kinda accurate you need very specific skilled guys to succeed with DJ for true top 10-15 production

unfortunately. no good Tackles in the draft, only a strong center in the 2nd round a possible normal development 76-77 guard.

Lots of corners though and a strong WR.

I mostly run short passes like slants and drags so he's been doing pretty good. And can throw the deep ball (sorta)

but under pressure dude is horrendous, missed so many easy throws.

still debating it we're 8-7 and if we beat the cowboys we'll make the playoffs so stay tuned

I'm at the start of the third season in my two-player CFM and Jones has begun this season as a "star." We only play two games per season and sim the rest, but he plays well, sims good stats, makes all the throws and has good speed to get around. Never broke an 80 yard run for me yet Lol. I was also debating this but have made up mind my that when the time comes I'll resign him to a multiyear deal.

Ended up getting a Jets future 1st round pick for him and drafted a QB at #1 who ended up having star development. So I'm happy.

My first 4 picks (1, 2, 3, 8) all had hidden star development so it was a success.

But I traded 3 2nd round picks to move up to like 23 in the draft to take a center who was just normal which is a facepalm.

Still have 2 first round pick for next year and a much more balanced 79 overall rated team and lots of cap space so things should be good if the FA pool is deep next year. Expecting at least one playoff win after losing to the 13-3 saints in the WC round this year.
