For me it's mostly aesthetic - if it looks cool, fits the team and the climate. In my Houston Oilers franchise I picked the Standard Hybrid stadium as the Deluxe version's roof never retracts and I like having sunlight pouring through all that steel.
I don't really pay attention to funding; if I have to raise the price of snow cones by $1, I'm getting that stadium paid for. -

From what I've experienced, Deluxe Hybrid remains closed at all times and Standard Hybrid is always open. It was the same for Madden 20 and who knows how far back before that.
I picked Standard Hybrid and It's Always Sunny in Houston.Comment
