Re: Besides faster load times what else are you seeing playing Madden 21 on the PS5?
So, one thing is really standing out so far - setting the system resolution to 1080p unlocks the framerate to 60 FPS everywhere in the game - including between-play scenes. The PS4 Pro did this as well, but often chugged on some of the really wide-angle stadium shots. There is ZERO frame drop for these on the PS5, and it really feels like a fresh new experience when the whole game is 60 FPS - it feels like my PC version, actually.
4K resolution will obviously stay in 60 FPS during gameplay, but it drops into the familiar 30 FPS mode for menus and between-play stuff.
Classic tradeoff between visual fidelity and performance. 1080p probably isn't going to look so good on large TV's anymore, but on my 27-inch monitor there's not too much of a quality dropoff and some slight aliasing.
