And not to come off like a jerk or anything but, I can't believe they released this blog without 1 screenshot. That doesn't even seem like something EA would do. This whole next gen release has just been strange. I'm sure they'll show something this week if not later on today, but still, just strange.

Know I feel like you raise a good pt. I mean better graphics & lighting should be a given on the new systems. I mean when you have something really good you would show it off right, especially if your EA. I feel like their setting up the bar pretty low for this release & the past two yrs in general. Not saying its not going to be good, it just like this series is so far behind when it comes to sports games. It's their 2nd or 3rd time rolling out the living sideline world lol. It's the first time in my life I didn't bite on a new console at release, so it's going to be interesting getting everyone's thoughts on this.

Well this is my thought. EA is in a position where they're damned if they do, damned if they don't. If they say something, they'll get crapped on, if they don't say something, they'll get crapped on as well. And I'm not saying this in their defense whatsoever, I'm just saying that's how it is. Maybe we'll all be pleasantly surprised at how everything looks and is implemented come Dec 4. From the sounds of it, the few people who had a behind closed doors look at next gen, came away with positives.

You definitely right, EA will always be in that spot. What I've tried to do with Madden especially, is let my observations digest for atleast a week or two. Get thru the new car honeymoon stage & see what you have left at the end.

I mean I definitely get that, but the thing is they chose to do today by posting that blog, whoever prepared it should've had some kind of visual evidence to go with it. It's just strange to have nothing. It's not like they couldn't have waited to post the blog when they had some screens or video ready.

I figured they'd post something about the presentation this week since they were quiet on it last week, but it's also strange they allowed some of the media speak on it knowing they had a blog coming the next week. Knowing how you were going to market this why not have something to show. It's been an extremely strange year and this is just one of the many examples, lol.

Hell maybe something will be posted later today.
