No actual PS5/XSX gameplay 5 days before release?

Im so weak, I caved in and bought the ultimate edition of Madden for $35. It was on sale on the Xbox Store plus I had $26 in my account. The sale ends Wednesday and i figured for $12 out of my pocket why not.

Would of felt better about the purchase if they had released videos of the next generation version. I truly only bought the game for the next generation version.

I sure hope it’s good.

I noticed that too.. had some 270 MB file that downloaded and I have 2 icons, one just M21 and the other M21 X|S.

I'm wondering when next gen comes out Friday, if the current gen M21 icon will go away once the next gen version downloads?

You will still be able to play the current gen one. Two separate games.

So I bought this the other day but never fired it up yet. Figured I’d wait until next gen download comes. Wonder if i need to have at least started them game first at least once before it’ll register to download the update or not...

I guess I can delete the current gen version once my CFM is converted to next gen? Don't see any reason to keep it.

It will be playable on the Next Gen reskin unless you want to start fresh.

That's what I did with my Black Ops Cold War on PS5. It downloaded both current gen and next gen versions so I deleted the current gen one and everything worked fine. I'll end up doing the same thing for Madden on my Series X. Should work the same way I believe.

I did the same thing. I haven’t put it in yet waiting for the next gen update. Do I have to put it in the system before? I am still confused about how this works
