Has anyone found how to get more edge pressure WITHOUT usering DL?

Generating edge pressure
I honestly figured this would be something that would have been addressed by now - and the fact that it's not probably means devs don't see it as broken - but are others seeing most of their league's sacks come from inside w/ DTs? In my league x-factor DEs/OLBs rarely reach double digit sacks.

Re: Generating edge pressure
Been thinking of moving Myles Garrett inside as well. I get way more sacks from my interior as it is. At least I can get them from my SuperStar player. Except in week 13 he broke his thumb and is now out 5 weeks. Seems like something you can put a cast/brace on and play through to me but I guess that's now Madden rolls.

I have found the exact opposite. Though I always play with edge threats on my team. They get the sacks before the interior dts can even beat their blocks.
Nickle 2-4-5 edge threats light up like every play stock.
Nickle normal pinch dline and crash out and edge threats active majority of the time.Comment

Doesn't sound like a CFM, or at least no sim league. Except you are that lucky that you always get SS+ edge rushers

I think it would depend on the type of break and where exactly the break occurred. But I will agree maddens injury system has sucked for a long time.Comment

Resistance is a big deal...especially for CPU rushers that aren't going to vary their moves as intelligently as a user.I honestly figured this would be something that would have been addressed by now - and the fact that it's not probably means devs don't see it as broken - but are others seeing most of their league's sacks come from inside w/ DTs? You're seeing it impact EDGE guys a little more heavily simply because of how line mechanics work. Interior guys can get blocked by any of the IOL on a given play, depending on the defensive front and the blocking scheme. EDGE guys are usually going up against the same T every single play....resistance builds up against that one guy a little faster.
I've found it very helpful this year to swap D-line positions frequently. I do it via form subs...I'll have one nickel set with default rushers, another set with the EDGEs flipped to the opposite side, and other with the EDGE guys on the interior. That way the guys rotate naturally as I do my playcalling, and I don't have to screw with it in game.
Across a pretty normal playbook of maybe 2 nickel sets, 2 dime sets, and Big Nickel, that gives you a lot of different ways to swap guys around and rotate your depth in, and it really helps keep resistance down longer.Comment
