Franchise Mode Superstar X-Factor Limit?

Hey, just a quick question. I'm playing with the Baltimore Ravens, in the 3rd year of the Franchise and I just recently was given the opportunity to improve Yannick Ngakoue from Superstar to Superstar X-factor.

I fulfilled the requirement and he did receive the buff, however in the very next game, I completed the Zone requirement of getting a sack but the Zone wasn't activated. I believe I'd read at some point that there's a limit to the amount of X-Factor ability players you'll have the chance to use in a game, and I do have Marlon Humphrey on the defensive side as one, Lamar, Marquise, and Andrews offensively as the others. Might that be the reason that Yannick's X-Factor ability can't be activated?

I think I read you can only have 3 on the field at one time on either side of the ball. I’m not 100% sure that’s accurate but if it is I’m not a huge fan of that

Ahh yeah, I thought I may have read something along those lines. And yes I definitely agree, if that is actually the case, I'm not a fan of it either.
