Has anyone put all players development at normal and they work there self up? I think it would be interesting but a long process.

Not a bad idea but a few things to consider:

You will never have offensive lineman above normal as they don't upgrade their traits.

After 1 season depending on how many SsXF, ss, and star player you have the league set at, it will adjust to those numbers. If you have them set at 0 for each, assuming you can, everyone who progressed in dev trait will just regress.

Likely after 1 year most of the top rated players will end up being you SsXF again.
