Can't Find the Sweet Spot .....

....between All-Pro and All-Madden.

I tried All-Pro with heavily favored CPU sliders and I don't even need to focus. I can just dominate.

I tried All-Madden and lowered the turnover sliders and get my butt kicked. I've played a number of games, at least 10, and I think I've won one. And that was barely as the Steelers over the Giants. Except for that game and a couple others I'm not even competitive.

I just can't figure out how to get this in a spot that fits my skill level where the team I am matters.

It feels like this game needs a difficulty between All-Pro and All-Madden.

Any suggestions ?

Check out the slider sub forum.

There are plenty of people who have posted recommended AM slider sets.

Re: Can't Find the Sweet Spot .....

For normal players(players who don't know how to use exploits against the CPU or can't control the game with their User controlled player on defense) Making a good AM slider set comes from putting in a fair amount of time in practice mode where you can just analyze how things play out without worrying about winning the game.

A good set IMO is one where the CPU has a slight advantage over the User(to balance out the User POV advantage) wherein the you have to use all of the mechanics of the game to win consistently: use check downs often, keep backs and TEs in block, double team blocks, shade DBs, match up DBs, spy QBs, pick on mismatches, get good at making pre-snap reads. I would never win if I didn't do all those things every game.

A lot also depends on your team and how good they are. I struggled on AM defaults when I first started my Falcons CFM, then tweaked sliders and now in 2025 I have a dominant offense and defense and I'm back to AM defaults and having great results.

In my experience (don't get triggered lol)
All pro is way too easy, and all madden is complete bull****.

To be good at all madden, you need to learn how to "play Madden" vs playing football because it's super unrealistic. DBs can fly across the field and animations ridiculous INTs that would've been easy completions irl.

NFL Head Coach 09 had a "Play Steal" feature.

CPU teams stole your successful plays in your playbook and added them to their playbooks. That feature met with college playbooks from incoming college coaches and user created plays birthed a new meta evolution for playcallers across the NFL.

Re: Can't Find the Sweet Spot .....

I suppose this would be for the slider thread, but here's my set:

All Pro
QB Acc HUM: 25 CPU: 28
Pass Bl HUM: 38 CPU: 45
WR Ct HUM: 42 CPU: 45
Run Blk HUM: 23 CPU: 38
P Re/Cv HUM: 45 CPU: 48
Ints HUM: 20 CPU: 15
Tackle HUM: 42 CPU: 42

I play no switch on defense and only use coach suggestions for plays. I don't use audibles on offense or defense either. Get pretty good games from these.

In next gen Madden, I literally have not seen this happen one time. Not once.

IMO, for the first time ever, I think that Default AM, while completely playable, actually is now too easy for the veteran Madden User vs the CPU because of the removal of the vast majority of cheats that use to exist.
