Madden NFL 22 Trailer - Dynamic Gameday, Star-Driven AI, Franchise Mode and More

I’m liking what I’m seeing with the potential franchise updates.

My biggest complaint is the commentary is back. The worst commentary team in all of sports video games IMO.

The game still looks like madden, the same animations we’ve been seeing for a couple years now. At some point they are going to have to work in some physics or something into the collision engine but straight animations just don’t look organic.

All the franchise improvements sound good but I’m hoping for some depth to them. Hopefully they are just boring “mini games” like the current scouting system.

That stuck out to me as well. The animations they used in the trailer were those same ones that have been in the game for years. The hit stick, the stiff arm, tackles and catches. It looks good though.

It probably means nothing for the sports games, but the newest iteration of the Frostbite engine has brand new physics. It's most likely only for Battlefield, but you never know.
