Madden 22 Salary Cap by Season

I made a list of the salary cap for Madden 22 by year in case anyone is interested and tracks cap over multiple years like I do on a spreadsheet. No more raises after 283M. Hope this is helpful.

2022 - 233.00
2023 - 253.00
2024 - 263.00
2025 - 271.00
2026 - 277.00
2027 - 280.00
2028 - 282.00
2029+ - 283.00

Really disappointing how huge the cap is in this game, but it is what it is. I get why they did it and there's so much good in this game it's not something I'm gonna get too hung up on. It's way too high early on and in future years when tv deals will kick in it's barely rising. I have been impressed with how realistic the contracts in the game are. Darius Leonard got 5 yr 105 from the Colts in my Eagles CFM and in real life he just got 5 yr 99. That's pretty darn close and light years better than it was in years past.

Wondering what happens in 2029 to end inflation of football player pay. Is it collusion or does badminton become more popular.

Actually happy we have more cap space to work with. Otherwise how could I afford $117 7 year deal I gave Jamarr Chase deal in 2024

Did the cap jump up in Madden 21? I felt like I was always struggling with cap issues just trying to lock up my own players I spent time building up.

Cap will never be fixed beyond increasing it like this until they allow us to customize and restructure contracts. I’m happy the contract amounts are finally realistic. I’m happy cap penalties are real, even with trades. But, we need the ability to front-load, convert money into bonuses, and restructure contracts. That would be the icing on the cake for franchise for me.
