I don't care if they do it as long as I can button through it.

For some reason EA hates tv styled broadcasts and wants it be a madden broadcast instead. It’s why we have the super goofy replay angles that are all “extreme!”

Just give me the option to skip them automatically and I've got no problem with them

Before going any further, read the top disclaimer folks:

An EA spokesperson shared the following statement with IGN. "Following incorrect reports suggesting that we are looking to introduce 'TV-style' commercials into our games, we wanted to clarify that in-game advertising for console games is not something we’re currently looking at, or have signed any agreements to implement. Creating the best possible player experience remains our priority focus."

This thread probably should be closed based on this disclaimer.

Unfortunately we're going to have a certain segment of folks who will continue to spread this announcement as being true, regardless of what correction comes after it. This will be one of the tin foil hat wrinkles that has legs.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

I know they said they have no current plans to do it, but as I said earlier, give me the duplication of an actual tv broadcast for presentation (including pregame, halftime, and post-game), and I'll gladly take ads along with it.

But yeah, that's not happening any time soon.

We're going to get commercials before we get classic teams or playable CPU vs. CPU games in Franchise....

Great work, EA!

You practically already have CPU vs CPU. Control one team and then SLOW sim. Doing so makes it CPU v CPU, for the duration of the game if you want.

The only catch is being a coach for one of the two teams.
