Your quote in your signature is priceless.

Penalties were virtually non-existent in the couple of games I played. It's a continuation of late-cycle last version, when it seemed clear that an update nerfed penalties. THis is a real negative for me.

Penalties are there but you have to crank up the penalty sliders. Once you do that, there are quite a few but still not enough, to be fair. Hopefully one day they address this.

And what exactly about the dynamic game day stuff is stale? I don't think that's been done before.

Good: Several new features/mechanisms that add depth

Bad: between 2 EA Play accounts + Aug 16 purchase = $100

Promising: learning new NG Stat & player rating levels + rerating rosters to be in-line with generated levels, will be ready for Scouting Update

Let me just start this by saying that I don't want to de-rail the conversation here at all, and definitely don't want to come off as defending a troll.

With that being said, my issue with this sentiment is that there is no where else to go if my passions are Football / Football Video Games. Madden is it. so good, bad, and ugly if you want to talk football video games, you're talking about Madden.
