What's your Madden 22 hype level?

With the new additions to franchise, improved single player AI and features that should make most games feel unique this is easily the most excited I've been about Madden in over a decade. Implementation will be key, if they get that right then who knows how good this game will be.

So how excited is everyone else for this year's Madden?

Most excited I've been about Madden in probably 10+ years. That's not exactly saying much, but I'm very anxious to try it once I can. It's a big if, but if EA executes the implementation of everything in a good manner then I see myself actually playing multiple years into a franchise which I've hardly done in those 10+ years.

I'm excited but not sure if I'll preorder since Franchise mode isn't going to be complete until the Sept. scouting patch.

Same here. If I buy it it won’t be before the scouting update in September so I’ll have a month’s worth of feedback from everyone to use to decide if I’m buying

Hyped but cautious.

Love so many of the changes/improvements but the 'little things' are often what makes the difference between great gameplay & mediocre gameplay, and as you would expect in June, they still have some balancing/tweaking to do. Can be easy to forget this with the big flashy new features dominating the feedback right now.

It has been since Madden 10 I have been this excited for a Madden release.

While I like the improvements, it's still likely a pass for me. As a primary football fan, I want to want to buy Madden. But, it isn't to the point where I don't have to hesitate. My main issue is their approach to trying to marry animations and Physics. I get them not wanting the rag doll effect and want atheistically pleasing outcomes. But if they are going to balance Physics and animations, I rather it be a 80/20 Physics split.

I haven't purchased it in a very long time. If I do, it is likely because there aren't many games I'm interested in for the rest of the year outside of NBA 2k. So, it'll likely be around Black Friday if it goes on sale

I'm still enjoying M21 NG so I'm definitely hyped. I'm waiting to purchase until after scouting is patched in though.

I've gone against my rule about not pre-ordering games and pre-ordered Madden 22. I enjoyed the beta a great deal and can't wait to play more.
