I did this on MLB The Show 18 with Mark Appel. Traded for him to try to make him a thing.

I DFA'ed him by Year 3. BUT I TRIED.

It's a great and fun idea.

Planning something different this year, probably very different from most. It's similar to what I'm doing in The Show and really enjoying.

Take control of any team doesn't matter who,everything set to auto.
Sim slowly week at a time and follow the progress of the league until 5 games left. Then look over the standings and take over a team in the playoff hunt.

After the last game I can do all the offseason tasks for that team if I feel like it and when the new season starts, repeat the process of simming weekly until 5 games left and taking over a new team in the other conference.

This is about playing games that are exciting to play because of being in the playoff hunt and playing with different teams I never would have used in the past.

Later on once the scouting update is out I plan to do a second franchise running a single team for as many seasons as I can though probably max 3 seasons for me time wise once the other fall and winter sports games come out.

Steelers for now until the new scouting comes out. Then thinking Detroit if I am still interested in the game by then.

I usually run 3 or so. Eagles, Browns and who ever drafts my created QB.

For my created QB, what I do, is that I take one of the older bench QBs, and wait until I can edit a draft class. Look for a random QB, tweak his attributes to my liking and then simulate to the draft and do a career with him. It's how I always do it.
