New York Giants - ratings disaster

I just read the Giants essay in the new Football Outsiders annual - the OL is going to be terrible. Toney is going to look like another Gettleman disaster draft pick, especially with Elijah Moore lighting up secondaries in the same stadium.

This has nothing to do with Madden ratings, but Jason Garrett is not good at his job and Joe Judge is going to have a mutiny soon unless he gets some wins like Belichick does.

In conclusion, bet the under on the Giants this season.

The only reason ratings are low for rookies is cause of a low awareness attribute. Which when you play and control them doesn't mean anything. Take that attribute out of the equation and then see what their overall would be. That will give you a more clear picture of how EA rated any player, but rookies especially since they're always low their first year. Awareness has a ton of weight, too much imo in determining overall rating. Raising it by just 5 will increase their overall by at least 3 or more.
