Lack of penalties

In my last game, I had 6 penalties in first quarter. 4 block in the back. 2 holding. All penalties but 1 block in the back were on the CPU.

With my setup from 17,18,19 and 20 we had the following penalties working with my setup.

Offsides
Holding
False Starts
Face mask
Illegal in back
Roughing passer always a sensitive slider
Offensive and defensive pass interference was called frequently
We even seen unnecessary roughness
And even illegal man down field

* on madden 18 they worked the best.

* penalties work up to madden 20 so good that averages were around 110-120 penalty yards that I had to tone it down some.

I didn't play 21 very much.

I have played 22 some and tested my setup and penalties do work but nothing like they did in madden 20. I haven't tested any games with latest patch but will soon.

I can get holding, false starts, illegall in the back , offensive pass interference and obviously roughing the passer which why that one has to be set to 50.

It would be nice if defensive pass interference would work like it did on 20 if u held triangle or the Y button to long they would flag you.

Played a half and saw one penalty, which was a holding on the CPU. One.

Has anyone tried default penalty sliders on “play now”?

One thing I have noticed, last week I was getting multiple holding penalties per game. Now I get literally none. Zero. There wasn’t a patch. All my penalties are RTP or block in the back. Holding penalties for whatever reason turned non existent for me. Anybody else?

Did you make other slider changes?

I'll be honest, I think a person's gameplay slider setup has as much to do as anything with the frequency in which they are called.

I have noticed that as well. I haven’t tweaked anything since the time I was getting the holding calls called. Then they just vanished. I’m using what’s in my OP in the slider forum at the moment. I noticed the closer I got to default the more penalties were called

Same for me and my setup worked great a month ago then vanished until I stumbled across something playmaker posted.

It actually does get holding called. I'm not sure of we can do the controller trick and do it for the CPU team then move controller select back to middle and the CPU have setup stay.

Switching Coaching Adjustments to the following options for USER Games



Offense

Deep Ball Catching-Aggressive

Intermediate Catching-Conservative

Blocking-Aggressive (Allows for a few more penalties per game for the USER)

Ball Carrier-Conservative



Defense Still Testing Coaching Adjustments


* holding definitely gets called. For the other penalties not sure haven't had time to test a full game.
