This was an interesting one.
Playing in conference championship and noticed this.

Thankfully he isn't actually playing as a defensive linemen. 20210831_091345.jpeg

This happened in one of my games too, I guess the Punter is technically a defender haha

Re: Progressive Fatigue AI Logic

I'm storming through the playoffs, winning games by 30+ continuing the late season form, playing on All Madden. Why? Progressive fatigue.
I just beat the Vikings easily. Because Dalvin Cook had three carries before becoming fatigued. In fact, the Vikes lost all three running backs, and had fullback CJ Ham take almost all the carries. They also had OL at TE (and not smart enough to call run plays behind him) and other frequent sub-out of key players.

Progressive fatigue also seems to impact injuries. It makes sense: a tired player is more liable to be injured. Because the AI isn't managing it though, they get a ton of injuries in a late season game, and I don't. Equals easy wins.

I'm at the conference championship, so will play out this season. I think I stop then and play something else until it's fixed. I want the challenge of it, and don't want to turn it off. It's really damaging to franchise play in it's current form though.

I'm going to test with fatigue slider at 40. Hopefully, this will mitigate the issue as the the actual in game fatigue will take much longer. 40 or 35 may do the job.

Re: Progressive Fatigue AI Logic

I see the patch notes imply a band aid for missing running backs.

I'm yet to play post patch, but last nights match was another reminder that this is more than just RBs. I played Tampa in the NFC Championship. Not only did Tampa have to use their FB in place of three RBs, after the first few plays, they lost all three TEs to fatigue. They played almost all the game with OL at TE. This was especially ridiculous when they went to spread formations.

Re: Progressive Fatigue AI Logic

If I turn progress fatigue off will there still be training injuries?
