Honestly, I prefer the lower ratings for most of the league because I feel there’s a noticeable talent disparity between players. If we had everyone’s favorite team/player go up then it’s arcade all over again.

This is only a temporary "record breaker" boost, like Tucker last week.

There a much better things to gripe about like Zach Wilson getting no boost, the Diggs thing.

Techinally there's only 54. And if you start a franchise he probably picks up a bunch during the season. By the end of the season he's probably in the top 30-35 which I think is fair for a 2nd year player.

Folks, you can't have it both ways.

A lot of us complained in the past that Equipt Guru was biased because

you felt he was giving Cowboy players more increases vs other teams. Now,

Diggs has 4 Int's and he was rated low starting out the gate and people are complaining

about that. Ironic #1 By the way, Revis Island had as high as 6 int's in one season.

Int's don't make a total shutdown corner. They are definitely good at ball hawking.

Ironic #2- A lot of us complained in the past that all the #'s were too high. Recently, the #'s have leveled off and now folks want higher #'s.

I get that it's the Texans, I do. But the Bills completely and utterly de-pantsed them, to the point that Football Outsiders was writing to ask if it was the best defensive performance they've ever recorded.


Result? 1 point bumps for the Tight End, Fullback, Backup SS, and Long Snapper. If we beat the Chiefs I'm sure it will go nuts, but jeez EA.


Also, Cody Ford somehow got a bump to AWR despite being benched mid-game.

They would be fine if they would just make sure the teams have their minimum requirements so the computer doesn’t make 800 moves.

I understand Baker Mayfield’s ratings taking a hit. But we know that he’s Playing injured so wouldn’t it make sense to just make him injured in the game? His ratings would then drop from the injury.

It is an option to have players play through injury in franchise mode already. Or is there some limitation to them doing this with a roster update?

If you start an online franchise from Week 5, Smith is still on the Cowboys' roster and Gilmore is still with the Patriots.
