Offline Franchise - Realistic stats

Searched high and low but can't seem to find a way to play offline franchise and get realistic stats for CPU controlled teams. Tried multiple things - user control other teams, change playbooks etc. Whenever i sim a season, i might be lucky to see 3 QBs throw for over 4000yds. Recievers average 9-10 yards p/catch. Just rubbish stats.

Online franchise is a lot better but it's not why i buy the game. I like to make multiple saves, go back and play certain times of the season etc.

Looked at sliders, can't find anything to help with this either.

Has anyone found a way to fix this?

Nope. It sucks. Swami said there's no fix on the horizon too so we're stuck with this trash.

Pick most ANY thread here and it'll tell you no. Online is the only way. I don't have + and I am not getting it. IF I need + to have an online franchise, I guess I'm out. Unless they fix offline then no M22 for me.

Just so i got this right, is the only difference being you can't make multiple save points?

You can't make multiple save points, and you cannot take control of any other team. Which makes a big problem for people like me who control teams during the draft to not draft QBs when they have a young one, or to move Washington to London to give them an actual mascot.

Only way to get close is to supersim every game. Unfortunately you can only do this for offline franchise and offline has the 25 yard longest pass glitch that they won't acknowledge. Current gen is fine

You going to have to change each teams offensive playbooks in franchise in coach schemes to (Bucs Bruce Arians) only do it for starting QBs that have 4k in their stats history. So no Lamar Jackson or any running back like Derrick Henry or you won't get rush yards.
Do it as a coach then retire the coach you switch playbooks on and have your primary team so you won't have to do 32 team control. Just remember when you play the team you need to switch back to that teams original playbook and when you get a new coach In the league you need to do the switch as well.

Yeah he had two posts the day the scouting update released and it was in his comments to someone who wrote back to his post. There's some good stuff in there. That's where he said we also are not getting a fix for AI draft strategy this year.

Looks like you will be playing 2k till Madden sort their stuff out in Madden 29. Madden hasn't sorted anything out since connected career begin

Hey Philly, are you absolutely sure about that? I'm no Twitter guru but I've scoured his account and while I see several mentions of not being able to fix draft logic, the only thing he says about stats is that he is unaware of it's status.

Not saying I dont trust you but both of those issues have been the biggest in my eyes for years and after sitting out last year and splurging on a PS5 this year, I'm trying to find a shred of hope that the game will be playable.

In that regard, Faikanese, are you sure the KC/TB playbook workaround is still effective? Thought I read somewhere on here that that got nerfed with the patch too, somehow

I don't think you need to have + to have an online franchise. I use a secondary account without + to make tweaks to my online franchise (move a team to London, fire a coach etc) so I don't think that's an issue.

I don't know whether its the case for you, but it seems a lot of people are under the impression that online franchise only constitutes having to play against other players and that's far from the case. You can do a single user franchise without other players.

Also, because online does not have to worry about title updates for tweaks it plays better than offline. Now I prefer offline for reasons such as setting up a backup save and easier league management but online is a better version of the game.

It shouldn't be the case but offline has a lot of issues so a user is handicapping themselves by adamantly being offline only.

I look at it this way to convince myself of the shortcomings of online...not being able to have a backup save makes it more of a challenge for myself in that I don't "cheat" or give myself an unfair advantage...my mistakes are my mistakes and I'm stuck with them.

I did realize a benefit to doing an online franchise is that if the game crashes for any reason because...well...EA...I don't lose a whole game and can resume it without issue. This would annoy the heck out of me in offline because it's pretty common if you play like me and sim parts of your teams games.

No worries man. I'll see what I can find and update this with a link... if this Eagles replay review ever ends...



EDIT - Yeah you're right man. Maybe there's hope for it to get fixed. I really hope so.

So IF I supersim EVERY game offline it will or will not fix the 25yd limitations?
