Trade down during draft in 23 vs 21

I've been playing a lot of 21 lately and have become accustomed to the draft, such as easily trading down and scrolling through a created draft board of "favorited" players. I recently got to the draft in 23 and see no option to trade down during the draft OR to sort through players that I've selected as "favorites". If I go into the manual trade screen then I mostly see players in return as opposed to later or future draft picks like in 21.

Am I missing something?

Hmmm that's strange. I just watched a video and they had the option to trade down in the draft, but I haven't seen that option on my end...

Has anyone else experienced this?

I don't know if you are offered trades unless your personnel department has the perk to be offered a trade every pick. Before you say it, I agree this is dumb.

I appreciate the response. I found out why I wasn’t getting the option to trade away the current pick as it was tied to the trade option in the settings being set to auto. Once I switched it back to manual I got the option to trade down.

No don’t delete it. This is actually new information for me. I always had that perk because unlocking personnel is usually the first thing I do. I had no idea you’d have the option to trade down without it.
