Is there a way to UNSELECT a team in franchise mode?

I tried selecting a couple more teams to sim their games and see if I can work around the 25 yard bug (I can’t) and now I’m stuck with 2 teams I don’t want to control.

Is there a way to unselect those two teams so I can just focus on my one initial team? Or to make the CPU handle everything on only those two teams (but I handle everything on the one team I want to handle)?

If I retire as a team, does that mean the real coach of that team retires and is replaced by some random coach?

The coach stays the same, you just no longer control the team.

This is referring to the Supersim glitch, right? Because if you Supersim on slow speed, they definitely throw longer passes than 25 yards.



Or is this (gulp) simply simming outside the game? I haven't even checked, but I surely hope not.

Yeah I was trying to do the supersim workaround and used a couple teams as test beds. I don’t want to do it with my main team as I play every game with them.

Even if it does fix the glitch at slow speed, that will just take too long for every game every week. I figured if they’d throw longer than 25 yards when supersimmimg at fast speed, maybe I could do it with every game.

What is the reason for super simming over regular simming? Is it more realistic stats?

Yeah there’s a stupid glitch that limits all simmed QB’s to not throw over 25 yards which nerfs all QB stats. Apparently super simming on slow can be a workaround though it seems it doesn’t work for all.
