Is there any way to still access these Official Madden rosters from a previous week? I'd like to use a Week 3 or Week 4 roster to start a franchise, and I'm wondering if I can find / use these official rosters in the vault? (...or if someone else saved a copy and modified it slightly around Week 3 or 4.)

Yes. You can choose which week as a starting point when you start an online franchise. If you're offline then no unless you find one in the roster download.

My understanding is that this means we start the season at that point, right? What I want to do is start the season at Week 1, but I want to use rosters that are updated to Week 3 or 4, allowing for some face scans, some early-season ratings updates, and without most of the trades.

Is there a way to do that?

I don't think so unless added face scans retroactively effect rosters prior to the updated face scans and photos .

If you start a franchise from Week 10 using the real life roster, Cam and Odell are not on the correct teams. The roster in the main menu has them on the correct teams though. Am I missing something or setting something up wrong?

When you start with live rosters, players get cut and teams pick them up. I'm guessing that's what happens to Cam and Odell. I don't remember if it lists that in the transactions but you can check there.

Wrong. I started a panthers franchise and cam is signed from free agents by the bills

Same issue roster is not updated in franchise cam is a Bill and Odel is with raiders

Yes because he gets cut from the Panthers which is not recorded in the transactions, at least that's what I was told when I did a Vikings CFM awhile ago and DT Sheldon Richardson was picked up by another team.

This one is because the "week 10 start" Cam and O'Dell hasn't been made official yet. It's released in the morning. The official roster is released later in the day.
